Charles J. Sciarra has served as a part-time Assistant County Counsel for the County of Passaic since July 2000. In his capacity as Assistant County Counsel, Charlie litigates employment related matters for the County.

Charlie maintains his law offices in Newark, New Jersey where his practice focuses on criminal defense, labor, and employment related litigation.

A Jersey City native, Charlie worked for the White House until May 1996 when he graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law. He then went on to work in the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office as an Assistant Prosecutor. Charlie was also a clerk to the former counsel to the New York City Division of Civil Rights.

Before opening his own law practice in November 1999, Charlie worked for a New Jersey labor law firm.

He is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey and the State of New York.
